    Clothing: Country of Origin must be clearly indicated on the label, which must also state the material composition and brand

    Communication Items: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Communications

    Computers: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs

    Cosmetics: Prohibited for carriage

    Eye Wear: Prohibited unless an Import License is provided

    Food: Prohibited for carriage

    Knives: Prohibited for carriage

    Medicine: Prohibited for carriage

    Radios & Radio Equipment: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs

    Satellite Equipment: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs

    Telecommunication Items: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Communications

    Textiles: Country of Origin must be clearly indicated on the label, which must also state the material composition and brand

    Toys: Prohibited unless an Import License is provide by the consignee from the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs

    Goods of Chinese Origin: Goods manufactured or documents from the USA are prohibited


    Customs Clearance Requirements

    High value shipments may require the consignee to obtain an Import License from Taiwanese Customs.

    The Consignee must give written approval to Taiwanese Customs or their agent to allow customs clearance to take place (also known as Power of Attorney)

    For multiple parcel shipments a packing list should be provided for each parcel detailing the contents, weights and values of each item in the box.

    Cosmetics: State the kind of material, composition e.g. 100% cotton, whether it is knitted or woven, who the item is for i.e. man, woman or child

    DVDs/CDs/Videos: Provide length, duration, description of content, reason for import on the invoice

    Electrical Items: Prohibited for carriage, unless registered with the Food: & Drug Administration of USA

    Eye Wear: Prohibited for carriage, unless registered with the Food: & Drug Administration of USA

    Food: State the kind of material, composition e.g. 100% cotton, whether it is knitted or woven, who the item is for i.e. man, woman or child

    Customs Clearance Requirements

    The Consignee may have to give written approval to USA Customs or their agent to allow customs clearance to take place (also known as Power of Attorney). If the receiver to does not agree to clear the goods or takes too long they could be moved into the Government Warehouse, additional charges will apply.
